All the way my Savior leads me. . .

With one year left of undergrad at MBI, I finally made it to the ever-elusive "Super Senior" status. Hooray! 🙌 I'm so excited to be done, yet I find myself quickly realizing that I am running out of time to accomplish everything that I'd like to do before graduation. Like passing piano proficiency.  #yikes
With such a whirlwind of things going on, I'd like to have a place to be intentional with sharing updates about school and ministry, other than the occasional "doggo" meme and Instagram photo that gets posted to facebook.

So, without further ado,

 Some Super-fun Updates: 

• This next semester I will be in the MBI Music Department's production of Into the Woods as the Baker's Wife! 🍞 I am beyond thrilled to get on stage again. I've performed musical and operatic scenes while at Moody, and I was in the operetta Die Fledermaus at Northwestern University this past summer... but this is the first time that I will be a part of a full musical theater production since Thoroughly Modern Millie in 2013. Too long, I say!

• The Moody Chorale is touring again at the end of May! We were just in Romania and Hungary this past summer, but we received a special invitation from the Von Promnitz family to return to Europe this summer and tour in Poland. We couldn't pass on such a cool opportunity, especially when we felt that the Lord was calling us to go. We will be singing in many different venues (festivals, schools, churches, and even a Ball). We are so excited to evangelize through song, scripture, and testimonies. Keep an eye out for a lengthier tour and support raising update!

• I am half-way through my internship at The Moody Church!  I am happy to say that I have only fetched beverages out of free will and my own volition, and am in fact learning, observing, and participating in many different ways.  It has been swell getting to hang with all the kiddos in Children's Choir and making new friends in Sanctuary Choir. My magnum opus last semester was being cast in the Children's Christmas Musical, Dr. Newheart's Christmas Day Cure!
  

      With the advent of a new year, I find myself looking forward to many things that have become "tradition" during my time at Moody. It's bittersweet knowing that that this next year will be filled with lasts, but I look forward expectantly (and hopefully) to everything the Lord has planned.
